Living The Golf & Tennis Lifestyle.

The Neighborhood Company listed something special this week…

Tammy Nantz and I put 112 Cowdray Park on the market a day or so ago. Even if it’s not in your budget wheelhouse, you need to check it out. That said, if it is in your budget wheelhouse, you need to check it out!

Cowdray is one of the beautiful streets in the popular Wildewood Country Club, where golf and tennis are Neighborhood favorites.

Below is the write-up and check out the links. This property is cool, super well built, and IMO…lives cleverly.

“Stunning custom-built home on 1.2 acres is a masterpiece in & of itself. Designed by Charles Cunniffe & built by Dennis Kendrick, no detail has been overlooked. Features such as hand-routed moldings, soaring ceilings, & floor to ceiling windows make this home one of a kind. The porte-coch’re leads you over a koi pond into the foyer & centerpiece of the home: an amazing 60′ tall atrium surrounded by a floating 3-story staircase. Communication w/the outdoors is a central theme throughout. Vaulted greatroom overlooking the lake boasts a hand-bowed cypress ceiling, cross-cut travertine floors, floating built-ins, & wetbar. Den/gun room completely laid in Honduran heart pine. Chef’s kitchen w/SieMatic cabinets, 2 Fisher Paykel double-drawer dishwashers, Viking 6-top gas range, Kitchenaid convection ovens, & Subzero; flows into breakfast/keeping room w/workspace. Take the elevator to the master suite w/gorgeous views of the lake from the private balcony, Jacuzzi tub, & spa shower, plus double vanity, his/hers water closets, & amazing closet that leads to office. Cross the catwalk to loft & guest bedroom w/private bath. Take the elevator to the lower level where you will find the family room with built-in entertainment center & wetbar. Adjacent are 2 more guest suites each w/private bath & access to the gunite pool. Built-in TEC grill, cement tile roofing, computerized lighting system, wine cellar, 3 car garage w/workshop. Live & entertain beautifully in this grand work of art.”

It took me about an hour to walk through the home and take everything in. While I usually have a “star of the show,” this house was so balanced and fun, it’s hard to choose a favorite. I will say that the 60-foot tall atrium with the leveled hanging greenery is impressive. It reminded me of a hotel entrance… inside a home.
