Real Estate News @ King’s Grant – 29209

As I go through my routine I’m often asked, “How’s the market?” Sometimes, however, I’m asked about specific neighborhoods and lately I’ve been asked, “Anything out in King’s Grant?” Well, if you search the Internets or drive around the KG loop you’d think all is pretty quiet. That said, there’s some action going on most folks don’t know about.

Here’s what I know that comes to mind (that isn’t on Zillow, etc.)

-19 Mackay’s Point is Under Contract to close 9/15/14 (vacant lot).
-Big house is taking shape on N. King’s Grant Drive that will feature three televisions (in a triangle) overhanging the middle of a swim-up bar indoor/outdoor pool.
-Bobby Haas Construction is building a big one on Newport Hall.
-Heard that construction in the middle of Huspah Ln. will be happening soon.
-712 King’s Grant Drive (Corner lot @ KG Drive and Point Comfort) is Under Contract to close 9/30/14.
-Vacant Lot on Davant Place is Under Contract.
-House on Foot Point is Under Contract set to close in 2015.
-Corner of N. Tombee & Tombee Place is Under Contract.
-The two houses going up on Oakman West are Sold.
-Large house on Cotton Hope may be available soon. (million +)
-House on Ravenwing is quietly available. (500s)
-Two houses on N. Tombee may be available soon. (500s)
-House on Davant Place may be coming to market soon.
-A house on Foot Point would quietly sell for $850ish.
-A couple more owners I can think of would sell but want to stay low key. (550 and 650).

As you can see, there’s a lot going on..
